And when it brings love in it’s arms,
It’s harder to be wise.
I fought against it tooth and nail,
I’ve tried to kill it in the womb.
And when my last weapon was broke,
You took me to your room.

So I’m drinking and smoking.
I’m taking pills when I’m not ill.
I’ve enjoyed the most of it,
And the truth is I do still.
But there’s nothing I’d do differently.
There’s no way I’d change my life.
To get a decent cutting edge,
